 Saving That Money!

If your are looking smart ways to save and spend your money correctly, you came to the right place. In this post, I will be teaching you my ways of saving money.

Online Products

To start off, if you are looking at some products online and hoping to buy them, do not order the product right away! These mistakes often happen with unknown websites, hoping to lure you in to buy their products. In my personal experience, I have bought an item off of an unknown website called Dresslilly.com, and let me tell you how horrendous it was! It was one of my worst experiences, and no one ever warned me about it! On their website, they had the cutest outfits and dresses, and at the same time, they were incredibly cheap! And who doesn't LOVE getting a bargain. I ordered it online, and the dress took at least a month and a half to arrive! Also, when it DID arrive, it had poor packaging. Not to mention, the dress didn't fit, and it had poor quality among it. When I glanced at their reviews, I realized that customers, like me, were fooled by their bargains and were furious. Worst experience of ordering a dress online! :(

1) Look at the reviews first! This always helps you to see if ordering something off of anyone's website is worth it.

2) If a dress is really cute and has a really low price, don't fall for that trap! Even though I may sound like a fool for saying this, but it's true. It's too good to be true.

3) Also, check where the online store is from. Most likely, if you find an online store from Asia, the quality that they are giving might not be good.

4) Always buy the clothing item from an actual store, where you can try it on, and see if it fits. That's the best option out of these 4 reasons.

 Samples

If you are going to buy a shampoo or a special conditioner off of the internet, might as well try a sample of it. What I do to get these samples is by emailing the companies and asking for some of their products. Sometimes they reply, but sometimes they won't. Let me share some of my experiences. One time, I remembered one of my friends told me about a brand called DermOrganic, and she said that their argon oil was fantastic and easy to use. I go on their website, and they had a great variety from hair care products to their skin care products. I emailed the company asking for a couple of samples, and the next day, they replied. They ordered a package to my house in 2 weeks, and when I got these sample, I used the samples right away.It worked like wonders on my face, and there were no more blemishes. I became profound of this company, and became a loyal customer.

1) EMAIL the companies for samples.

Creating Healthy Shakes

What's better than cooling down and getting a glass of your favorite shake? However, the shakes that you buy have a lot of calories and many fats, which you want to avoid. Here are simple steps to creating healthy drinks that you can enjoy any day.

Banana- Ginger Smoothie

This shake is absolutely my favorite and easy to make! It soothes digestion, heartburn, or any nausea, so get ready creating this natural remedy drink.

Ingredients:
1 banana, sliced

¾ c (6 oz) vanilla yogurt
1 Tbsp honey
½ tsp freshly grated ginger
This will create 2 servings of your favorite drink!

Berry-Vanilla Paradise

This shake is also one of my favorites! This drink, however, is a bit sour, but it is remarkable. In a nutshell, this is a fat-free drink.

Ingredients:
½ c frozen unsweetened raspberries
½ c frozen unsweetened strawberries
¾ c unsweetened pineapple juice
1 c (8 oz) fat-free vanilla yogurt
This will create 2 servings! Enjoy :)

Wonders of Watermelon

This is the last of the drinks. I especially love this drink because it is easy to make, but it's delicious at the same time.

Important Hair Care

"Some of the worst mistakes in my life were haircuts"~ Jim Morrison

When being a woman, you need to learn how to properly take care of your hair without damaging it. Hair is like a tiara for a woman except it can be damaged and ruined. In this blog, you will learn ways how to create a healthier lifestyle for your hair. Here are simple tips to having healthier hair.

1. Do NOT swim unprotected.

The water in the pool or in the beach will contain chlorine or salt water. These are the main factors that cause your hair to dry out, which eventually causes split ends. Before hitting the water, I recommend applying a strong leave-in conditioner to the damp hair.

2. Do NOT tie your pony tail too tightly.

Making your ponytail too tight can lead to traction alopecia, or hair loss on the scalp of your head. This will cause breakage in your hair and can lead to hair loss. In order to avoid this, aim for a loose ponytail, braid, or a bun. Do not make the rubber band, or whatever you are using, too tight. Also, when going for a nap, make sure you take off your ponytail before sleeping. Letting your hair down while sleeping, can reduce the stress among the strands of your hair.

3. Brush the RIGHT way.

Every morning, spend some time to untangle and remove the knots and dust in your hair. However, if you recently showered, and your hair is damp, make sure to use a wide-tooth comb, since a hairbrush will be too harsh.

4. EAT healthy.

Eating healthy is one of the main factors for having great hair. I recommend salmon because it is rich in protein and vitamin D (both are key to strong hair). I also recommend walnuts because they are the only type of nut that have a significant amount of omega-3 fatty acids.  You can try using walnut oil in your salads instead of using salad dressings. As simple as that!

5. Blow dry your hair the CORRECT way.

Before blow drying your hair, you must apply heat resistance spray on you hair. At least spray two times on your damp hair before drying it. Not only does this resist the damage, but it stops most split ends and the drying out on your hair.
